cover full-time shifts in the ER each week. The PA-C will be
the sole
provider during the shift with Physician back-up available.
Successful
candidate must demonstrate thorough knowledge of emergent patient care
and is comfortable working independently. Previous
ER experience is a
definite plus. Washington State PA-C license and BLS, ACLS,
ATLS &
PER required. The hospital is located on a beautiful bend of
the
Columbia River which offers a host of outdoor recreational
opportunities. Many tourist hamlets, wineries and fruit
stands
surround us. Brewster offers small town living with urban

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well respected Family Practice Clinic in Houston Texas. The clinic hours are Mon-Fri (8:30am-5:00pm) with no weekends or call responsibilities. The practice is comprised of 3 physicians, one Nurse Practitioner and one Physician Assistant. The Provider would be seeing an estimated 25 patients per day in the clinic with great support team including RNs and Medical Assistants. The practice has Electronic Medical Records but will provide the Provider with EMR training. The base salary range from $95,000-$120,000 plus monthly bonus incentives. Prominent Urology group in Scottsdale, AZ seeks fulltime Physician Assistant with clinical hours. In collaboration with the physicians, the PA is responsible for providing varied medical services, including: obtaining complete medical history and performing a physical examination; ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies; formulating a diagnosis and treatment plan; prescribing and/or dispensing medication; counseling patients and families. Taking calls from answering service and talking to patients.
Job Requirements
A Bachelors degree and Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program are required. The employee must have or obtain a current Arizona license and current NCCPA certification. Prior urology experience is a plus. Strong patients skills a must!!

Applications are invited for a ranked, full-time, 12-month Program Director position in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program.
Responsibilities: The Program Director’s responsibilities are daily management, leadership and responsibility for all PA Program operations. These tasks include, but are not limited to: organization, curriculum planning and teaching, supervision of faculty and staff, administration of educational aspects of the program (student recruiting, evaluation, advising), fiscal management, program development and maintaining successful continued accreditation.
Required Qualifications: Physician Assistant applicants must hold an earned advanced degree (master’s or doctorate), must hold current NCCPA certification and hold or be eligible for Pennsylvania licensure. Physician applicants (M.D. or D.O.) must be certified by an ABMS- or AOA-approved specialty board and must have a current medical license in Pennsylvania. Clinical experience, leadership and management experience are also required qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience, PA program teaching or precepting experience, successful accreditation experience, organization planning experience, budgeting, involvement with state and national associations and computer literacy are all preferred qualifications for this position.

Washington seeks PA faculty members at its Seattle and Spokane training
sites, as well as our newest site in Tacoma, WA. There are
openings for didactic faculty and clinical coordinator faculty at all
three sites. Faculty duties include teaching, coordinating or
chairing courses, clinical placements, site visits, advising students,
admissions work, and scholarly activity.
Teaching
experience, in either a classroom or clinical setting, is
required. A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree
preferred. Current NCCPA certification and two years of clinical
experience are required. Military experience is a
plus.
This is a non-tenure track appointment, renewable annually, at the

The Physician Assistant Program at Lynchburg College invites applicatnts for the position of Program Director and Department Chair Physician. The program director and department chair of the physician assistant program will be an individual capable of implementing a strong program that also reflects the mission of Lynchburg College. This individual will have responsibility for leading the development of the curriculum, the hiring of faculty, the development and monitoring of the program budget, and the preparation necessary for program accreditation while supporting those individuals with responsibility for student recruitment and admissions and clinical education. S/he will report to the Dean of Graduate Studies.
The program director and chair must meet ARC-AP Standards for the position and consequently must be a certified physician assistant with appropriate graduate-level training. Individuals should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a physician assistant as well as experience relevant to educational settings with particular emphasis on medical education. Previous work in the development of Physician Assistant programs is highly desirable as is experience with the ARC-PA accreditation process. Lynchburg College is particularly interested in an individual who has a commitment to collaborative work and has clinical expertise, demonstrated ability in management and leadership, teaching experience, and familiarity with PA programs in terms of planning and finance. Selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
This position will be a 12-month, tenure track appointment. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with prior experience and professional and academic qualifications.
Note: Lynchburg College has applied for provisional accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The College anticipates matriculating its first class in June 2015, pending provisional accreditation in March 2015. Provisional accreditation is an accreditation status for a new PA program that has not yet enrolled students, but at the time of its comprehensive accreditation review, has demonstrated its preparedness to initiate a program in accordance with the accreditation standards.

The King’s College seeks a full time, non-tenure track Clinical Faculty member for its Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program. This 12-month faculty position is open immediately. The applicant must be a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant with clinical experience as a physician assistant and at minimum be enrolled in a master’s program. Prior experience in an academic setting is preferred but not required. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the Clinical Director in coordinating and monitoring clinical rotation sites and schedules, recruiting new clinical sites, establishing affiliation agreements with rotation sites, developing exams and other clinical assessment tools, and sharing in the didactic responsibilities of academic instruction, proctoring exams, clinical skills demonstration and testing, OSCE’s, physical diagnosis lab, as assigned by the Program Director on an as needed basis. Candidates will also assist with Program assessment. Candidates must be willing to travel and computer fluency is required.
