Job functions include but are not limited to: • Direct care- 60-70% time- scheduled visits, walk-ins, emergency and first aid
• Creation of policy and procedures, standing orders for RNs as needed
• Use of an Electronic Medical Record
• Committee Work- Avian Bird Flu, Domestic Violence, as necessary
• Annual and other reports as requested
• Emergency planning for department
• Assistance with electronic nurse line; "Ask A Nurse"
• Oversight of CLIA in house testing
• Liaison in-house pharmacy and physical therapy CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Board certified Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with minimum of 5+ years experience in out-patient setting.
• Experience working in either a corporate setting and/or ER preferred
• Experience with health promotion and disease management preferred
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft office products (mostly Word, Excel, Outlook) required
• Knowledgeable about Worker's Compensation, OSHA, and CLIA regulations preferred
• Must be or get Licensed in CT and MA CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS:
