for their busy gastroenterology practice. This position is hospital
based and will be joining a full time PA or NP. The new PA/NP will conduct
health needs assessments, histories and physicals, patient education and
follow up, order diagnostics, and interpret test results. The group
would prefer an entry level candidate and would train a new graduate with

(Michener), is currently seeking applications from individuals
qualified to assume a clinical coordinator role for the new BScPA,
Physician Assistant Professional Degree Program. You may choose to be
affiliated with the University of Toronto and be based in Toronto, or
affiliated with NOSM and be based in northern Ontario.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Masters degree or the equivalent
combination of education and experience. Evidence of teaching in a
clinical or post-secondary setting as well as experience with on-line
learning is an asset. Preference will be given to candidates who have
graduated from an accredited PA program and have a minimum of two
years of full-time clinical PA practice experience. The ability to
travel to clinical rotation sites throughout Ontario is essential.

Emergency Department
In this role, you will work in the Emergency Department under the supervision
of all attending staff with privileges in the department. You will also
perform duties in a Level II trauma center; Provide diagnostic, therapeutic,
and preventive health care services; and take medical histories, examine
and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, and
make diagnoses. Treat minor injuries, by suturing, splinting, and casting;
as well as perform triage, treat and release in SMART fast track area.
One year of ED experience is required.
Cardiothoracic Surgery
In this role, you will work flexible schedules in the Cardiothoracic
Surgery and Neurosurgery Departments. You will be responsible for pre-operative,
post-operative, and intra-operative care. In addition, you will diagnose
and treat the patient population, as well as, perform EKG's, venipuncture
and wound care. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
