Orthopedic Physician Assistant - Temporary
Licensed and experienced PA needed for a temporary position in Council
Bluffs, Iowa. You will be working closely with a highly skilled,
experienced and well regarded Total Joint reconstruction surgeon.
This position involves surgical first assist, pre- and post-op inpatient
care and out-patient clinic visits. Willingness to assist in supporting
the physician by managing pager calls, on call duty and necessary paperwork.
Must be certified and licensed as an Orthopedic PA in the State of Iowa.
At least 2 years of active Orthopaedic Total Joint PA experience preferred.
Must speak English fluently and available immediately. Position length
tentatively: January - July 2010.

Medtrust Staffing has an exciting full time position at Ft. Lewis
in Tacoma, WA for a Physician Assistant with Neuro or Ortho experience.
This is a clinic position, supporting three neurosurgeons. You
will evaluate and diagnose patients – children and adults; to determine
need for neurosurgical care. You will be treating active duty soldiers
and their dependants so it is an excellent way to give back to our troops!
The clinic is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. You can work on ANY state’s
PA license because the position is on base. The base is looking for

Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular Surgery

Evanston Hospital is proud to be part of NorthShore University HealthSystem,
which is an academic healthcare system affiliated with the University of
Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine. We’re looking for an experienced
Physician Assistant to join our Cardiovascular Surgery group at Evanston
Hospital. The position is Monday through Friday, with rotation into 1 weekend
per month. Some travel to Highland Park Hospital is required. Available
shifts may vary (6a-4p or 7a-5p).
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), PA
and CPR certifications, and at least 2 years’ PA experience in cardiovascular
surgery. Previous surgical experience as a 1st assistant is also required.
The selected candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts.

Assistant. The position is all clinic based and will be 40 hours
per week. If desired, the position can be a four day work week.
This Doctor sees a solid volume of general, sports, total joints, and some
trauma cases. They have their own state-of-the-art facility that
includes on-site PT, Digital X-ray, and are in the process of implementing
EMR. Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred, but the Doctor will
train a new graduate that has a strong desire for orthopaedics! Any
new graduate at the very minimum, must have completed an orthopaedic rotation.
The area offers good school systems, reasonable cost of living, and is
a terrific location to raise a family. Salary is open, plus a bonus.
