PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT FOR NEPHROLOGY
Gould Medical Group, a Sutter Health affiliate, is seeking a Physician Assistant for its Nephrology department in Modesto, California. The position is responsible for clinical oversight, medical management, performing diagnostic assessments, prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic testing, performing procedures, and ordering physical and other therapies. The Physician Assistant will provide education and support to patients and families, and recommend and perform appropriate preventive measures to maintain health.
Duties may include rounding on inpatient facilities on an as-needed basis. After-hour and weekend responsibilities are required. Travel to the surrounding communities and in the local area to outlying Care Centers and Dialysis centers will be required. Attendance at arranged meetings and events will also entail some evening or weekend involvement.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT FOR NEUROLOGICAL SURGERY
Gould Medical Group, a Sutter Health affiliate, is seeking a Physician Assistant for its Neurological Surgery department in Modesto, California. Duties include taking call and assisting with the Neurosurgeon in the OR and the clinic, and rounding on patients in the mornings. Total support and supervision will be provided by our Neurosurgeon. No special procedures are required.

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Geriatrics
Sutter Health-affiliated Gould Medical Group is seeking a second Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its Geriatrician in caring for patients in local skilled nursing facilities. Duties would include rounding on the long-term patients, admitting the rehabilitation patients, and taking the history and physicals. The ideal candidate is independent and enjoys working with geriatric patients and their families. No procedures are required.
