Woodland Healthcare Woodland, California Woodland HealthCare (WH) is a 50 bed acute care facility with a 17 bed ED and average volume of 20,000 patient visits annually. Woodland is an accredited Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center, as well as a Kid-Friendly Emergency Department with wait times of 20 minutes or less. APCs  work 9 hour shifts with  3 hours of double coverage. Known as the “City of Trees,” Woodland is on the western outskirts of Sacramento. Located near the State Capital, UC Davis and just 2 hours from Lake Tahoe, Woodland offers affordable living in a friendly, safe, and caring community with a variety of sports and recreation options. Sutter Solano Medical Center Vallejo, California Sutter Solano Medical Center (SSMC) is a busy 23 bed department with an average of 39,500 patients annually. There are 27 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APC coverage daily. Vallejo is situated midway between San Francisco and Sacramento. Solano County is home to rolling hillsides, waterfronts and fertile farmland. County residents can enjoy day trips to the San Francisco Bay area, Lake Tahoe region and the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Sutter Amador Hospital Jackson, California   Sutter Amador Hospital (SAH) is a state-of-the-art hospital and serves as the primary acute care provider in Amador County.  The 8-bed ED treats over 21,000 patients annually.  There are 24 hours of physician coverage in 12 hour shifts as well as 10 hours of APC support.   Jackson is located near the Sierra Nevada foothills and blends the ambiance of a gold rush era downtown district with Victorian era neighborhoods.  Jackson hosts famous seasonal events and festivities that are popular throughout Sacramento Valley and Northern California.  Dameron Hospital Association Stockton, California Dameron Hospital Association (DHA) is a 12 bed Emergency Department which has a 6 bed Fast Track and averages approximately 49,000 annual patient visits.  There are 46 hours of Physician Assistant support daily. Excellent call panel, PACs, and an electronic medical record system. Stockton is within close proximity to scenic attractions including the California Coast, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park.  The community offers many recreational opportunities such as the Delta which provides miles of waterways for water skiing, sailing and other water activities.  Driving distance is approximately 60 minutes from Sacramento and 90 minutes from San Francisco. Mercy Medical Center Merced, California   This busy 26 bed emergency department sees an average of 68,000 patients annually. There are 45 hours of physician coverage daily and 40 hours of APC coverage. Mercy Merced provides the opportunity to teach in the Family Practice Residency Program. Merced is located in the heart of California’s agricultural Central Valley.  It’s a dynamic, mid-size community, with a friendly small town atmosphere. Emanuel Medical Center Turlock, California   Emanuel Medical Center is a 209 bed Level IV trauma center in the heart of Turlock, CA. As one of the busiest emergency departments in the Central Valley, EMC provides treatment to over 65,000 patients annually. EMC offers electronic patient tracking, PACs radiology system and bedside ultrasound and scribes.  The ED has 40 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) coverage daily.  Turlock is in the heart of California’s Central Valley.  You will enjoy a mid-sized urban culture with a relaxed rural environment.  Turlock offers cultural art, sporting activities, and several nearby attractions including San Francisco and Monterey Bay, Yosemite National Park and the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. White Memorial Medical Center Los Angeles, California   White Memorial Medical Center (WMMC) is a 353 bed community, teaching hospital, located in East Los Angeles.  As one of the busiest emergency departments in the area, WMMC provides treatment to over 58,000 patients annually.  The department has 28 beds, and a designated Fast Track area.  The ED has 52 hours of physician coverage and 34 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) coverage daily with some double coverage and productivity based compensation. As a paramedic base station, the trauma care team provides critical care 24 hours a day and is the only Pediatric Trauma Center in the San Fernando Valley. There are 35 beds in the main emergency department and eight Fast Track beds. The ED currently has 44 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of APC coverage daily. Northridge Hospital Medical Center is located in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley. It is the home of California State University, Northridge as well as 11 public and eight private schools. Sheltered by the Santa Susana Mountains, Northridge is a short 30 minute drive from both downtown Los Angeles and the Santa Monica State Beach. Plains Regional Medical Center Clovis, New Mexico Plains Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is a 106 bed hospital that serves a population of over 110,000 people within a 100-mile radius of the city of Clovis. PRMC is owned by a non-profit foundation, affiliated with the Presbyterian Healthcare Services.  As the busiest emergency department in the area, PRMC provides treatment to nearly 32,000 patients annually.  PRMC first opened its doors in the spring of 2005 and currently has 16 beds in the emergency department.  The ED has 24 hours of physician and 24 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) coverage daily.  Plains Regional Medical Center is located in Clovis, NM and serves eastern New Mexico and Western Texas areas. Hutchinson Regional Medical Center – Physician Assistants OR Nurse Practitioners Hutchinson, KS   Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is a 200 bed Level III trauma center located in Hutchinson, KS.  HRMC treats approximately 24,000 patients in the 19 bed emergency department annually. HRMC is accredited by The Joint Commission, has an Emergent Stroke Ready designation and received the Health Grades top award for Patient Safety in 2012 and 2013.  Physicians work 12 hour shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a) and there are 12 hours of APC coverage per day.    Hutchinson/Reno County is located one hour from Wichita.  The town offers a wide array of attractions and museums in addition to hosting variety of special events.  Dillon Nature Center is located on 100 acres in northeast Hutchinson.  This National Urban Wildlife Sanctuary showcases both plant and wildlife.  There are multiple golf courses in Hutchinson including both public and private courses.  The renowned Prairie Dunes Country Club was designed by golf legend, Perry Maxwell.  It is ranked 24th nationally by Golf Digestand 25th worldwide by Golf Magazine.  Other attractions also include the Hutchinson Zoo and Kansas Kids Museum.  Downtown Hutchinson offers unique shopping experiences including an Antique District and an array of national retailers located in the Hutchinson Mall. The SCCH Emergency Department is a certified level III department with about 50 beds and provides treatment to over 17,000 patients annually. With 29 beds, the JMH Emergency Department provides treatment to over 40,000 patients annually with a strong base of dynamic ABEM trained physicians and dedicated APCs.
