Assistants for two grant-supported part-time positions; a Community Education
Coordinator and an Outreach Coordinator.

The Community Education Coordinator (PVL#60152) position will:
collaborate with institutional and community programs targeted to develop

clinical preceptorships in rural/urban and medically underserved areas;
and provide PA program and PA profession promotion and recruitment activities.
This position will be the primary liaison between community mentors,
physicians, and faculty/staff associated with the community-based program;
assist in planning and organizing campus visits and videoconferences with
a peer staff member (Outreach Coordinator), as well as actively participate
in campus activities. Position will work closely with the program's
Distance Education Team in advocacy and direct learner support of the distance
students from rural, underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds, in
creating innovative technology for on-line curriculum and in providing
overall support of the clinical phase of the community-based program.
Physician Assistant to work collaboratively with GI physicians providing
direct patient care. Clinic and hospital work experience in performing
complex medical evaluations, developing, implementing, and evaluating Plan
of Care preferred. New program graduates are also encouraged to apply
