Our
client, an Atlanta cardio thoracic surgical practice, is looking to
fill the role of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
The
NP or PA may be responsible for care of patients undergoing stress
testing, patient rounding, managing post-op cardiovascular and thoracic
surgical patients, pre-op consultations, discharge planning, and
assisting in the operating room.
Qualified NP
candidates should have a Master's Degree in Adult Medicine and/or a
Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies as a Nurse
Practitioner. PA's should be a graduate of an accredited
Physician's Assistant program. Both positions required a
current
Georgia license (RN or PA), and NP's must have board certification as a
Nurse Practitioner in primary care (or related area). A
minimum
of 2-3 years experience in Cardiology, Adult Critical Care Medicine,
