Program

general neurology and stroke patients and to manage the administrative

The successful candidate will have an M.S. degree in

effective clinical aptitudes, as well as a proven ability to manage

Position Description
Cardiovascular
Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania seeks
candidates for the position of NP/PA. The candidate will direct
management of patients on the Cardiovascular Surgery Service under the
supervision of the attending cardiac surgeons. Duty hours will include
weekday nights and weekend days and nights for the cardiovascular
surgery service. These will be immediate postoperative cardiovascular
surgery ICU patients.
Minimum Requirements
Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in PA,MSN,CRNP in
Adult or Acute Care
Or
A
graduate of a Physician Assistant's Program approved by the American
Medical Association, hold a valid Physician Assistant's License in the
State of Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey, and have current certification
from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
(NCCPA.)
Eligible for credentialing by the entity medical board. Prefers
candidates with a strong Cardiology background.
Additional Information
This position is FT for Nights and Weekends Only.
4 x 12hr shifts
The
population consists of pre-and postoperative open heart surgical
patients including but not limited to those undergoing Coronary Artery
Bypass Graft, Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral Valve Replacement, and
Thoracoabdominal aneursym Repair.
In addition, those patients
who receive heart and/or lung transplantation are cared for
postoperatively. Primary nurses work with Nurse Practitioners or
Physician Assistants and an interdisciplinary team to meet physical,
emotional, educational, and discharge planning needs of the patient and
families to promote an optimal level of wellness.

rural Critical Access in California's Clear Lake Region has an opening
for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their inpatient team as a
hospitalist. The team consists of 2 Physicians and 2 ACNPs. The
hospital has a 4 bed ICU and most of the patient population is either
ICU or Med/Surg. The facility is located about 45 mins from Napa, 1
hour to Santa Rosa and 2 hours to San Francisco. The ideal candidate
needs to have prior experience working Inpatient as an NP. Candidates
