Physician Assistant Program Director
The Community College of Baltimore County has a rich tradition of providing undergraduate education, workforce development, technology training and life enrichment in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Dean of the School of Health Professions the Physician Assistant Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership of the Physician Assistant Program which operates in collaboration with Towson University. The Program Director is responsible for the day to day functions and organizations of the Physician Assistant Program.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for the coordination and direction of ARC-PA accreditation processes.
2. Leads the daily program administration including: supervision of faculty (interviewing, hiring, evaluation and discipline), budget management, planning and development.
3. Oversees the total academic program and integrity including clinical experiences.
4. Provides ongoing program evaluation.
5. Maintains collaborative external relationships to facilitate valuable clinical experiences and community relationships.
6. Oversees student recruitment, admission, and selection process.
7. Provides classroom instruction preparing and presenting relevant, current course content.
8. Performs student advisement and academic counseling.
9. Provides leadership to faculty in designing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the curriculum.
10. Plans and schedules Advisory Council meetings.
11. Serves as a liaison to Towson University.
12. Participates in scholarly activity.
13. Contributes to Towson University and CCBC through participation on committees, task forces or other work groups.
The Essential functions are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive. There will be other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
The Program Director is a nationally certified, state certified physician assistant assigned to the program in a full-time, 12-month position. The position requires a minimum of a Master's degree with at least two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant. Educational experience is preferred. Position requires an energetic leader with excellent interpersonal skills who can interact effectively with partners, faculty, students and stakeholders. Possesses strong critical thinking, organization, and problem solving skills with proficient written and verbal language. Competent in working with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Kansas – Family Practice w/Emergency Medicine – Loan Repayment!!!
