FLORIDA (20 minutes to Melbourne area)
Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics
Job Description: Orthopaedic Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. The position consists of both the OR (first assist) and the Clinic. The new PA will work directly with a Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. The position is a strong percentage of total joints and general cases. Responsibilities include: patient evaluations and education, removing casts and pins, consultation, ordering and reviewing lab tests, writing scripts, rounds, injections, and first assists. The new PA will also run a parallel clinic. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. Previous orthopaedic experience is required, but will train a new PA that has prior medical background (OR Tech., PT, Surgical RN)! The group requires candidates have a Florida license or be close to receiving one. Candidates should be able to start within 60 days.
The new PA will be employed by the group and will have a very strong benefits package. The position is located in an upscale community that is close to Melbourne. LOUISIANA (One hour to New Orleans)
Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics (WILL TRAIN!)
Job Description: Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks a full-time Orthopaedic PA to work directly with a Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This Doctor handles a strong volume of sports (knee and shoulders, total joints, fracture care and general cases). He utilizes the latest minimally invasive techniques. The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes Digital X-Ray, EMR, and PT Center. The position is a split between the OR and Clinic. Responsibilities include: first assist, evaluation of back injuries, consultation, rounding and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Call is 1/7 (minimal weekend call). Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/eligible. New graduates or soon-to-be graduates are welcome to apply!
Successful candidate must have completed an orthopaedic rotation. Preferred candidates would have a strong desire to work in orthopaedics and be a bright and motivated new graduate! The location is within one hour of New Orleans. The location offers moderate cost of living, museums and history, restaurants, shopping, and a great quality of life.

NORTH CAROLINA (Greensboro/Winston-Salem area)
Physician Assistant – Orthopaedics
Job Description: General Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position is focused on treating patients with general orthopaedic cases including spine, hip and knee related injuries and general orthopaedics. The new PA will eventually have the opportunity to run their own clinic. The PA will split their time in the OR and the Office.

SOUTH CAROLINA (Spartanburg area)
PA/NP – Pain Center (WILL TRAIN!)
Job Description: PM&R Doctor with a Fellowship in Pain Management seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The group works with a state-of-the-art Physical Therapy Center, and is located in a modern medical complex. This group is a high volume practice that handles muscular skeletal injuries. The position hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday thru Friday) and there is no call, evenings, or weekends.
Responsibilities include: Office/Clinic – new patient evaluations and follow-up Pain management (muscular skeletal evaluations) Eventually may run a clinic Pre and post-procedure H&P’s
Writing scripts Patient education and evaluation Small joint injections Evaluate X-ray, CT Scan, and MRI
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. Previous pain or orthopaedic experience is preferred, but not required! The group will train a new graduate! The PA/NP must have excellent interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.

Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics (Will train!)
Job Description: Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant. The new PA will work directly with a team of Orthopaedic Surgeons that have a strong focus on sports cases. Areas of concentration include: (Sports) arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee, rotator cuff, total joints replacement, ACL reconstruction and meniscus and cartilage repair. The position is focused in the clinic.
The PA will provide fracture management, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing labs results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/eligible, highly motivated, hard working and able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Call is 1/9 weekends and after hours are paid. Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred but will train a new graduate if they have completed an Ortho rotation! • Additionally, candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to diagnose and treat the patient population, possess the ability to perform EKG's, venipuncture and wound care.

About the position :
- FNP / PA will see a variety of patient illnesses including minor suturing, minor surgical, stiches, staples. If patients are too serious, provider will stabilize and send to ER.
- Urgent Care Setting seeing patients of all ages. 3 - 12 hr day shifts per week including some weekends. Avg 24 patients per shift – 30 minute visits. 40 hrs a week work. Flexible shift scheduling available to take time off. No on-call.
- Provider will work independently of other NP/MDs (but will have ancillary support staff). Desire to help people and be patient centered. This a great group with a group company culture that is looking for a great fit.
Requirement :
- Willingness to provide excellent customer service – our providers are here to serve our patients
- Ability to work some weekends

Job Responsibilities: Assist in the administration, fiscal management, continuous review and analysis, planning, development, and participation in the ARC-PA accreditation process; Serve as course director for specified courses; Develop course materials; Coach student learning teams; Participate in admissions decisions; And teach in areas of expertise/interest.
Minimum requirements include current NCCPA certification, a master's degree in a relevant field, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and eligibility for Mississippi licensure. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and a competitive benefit package is offered.
