Emergency Medicine Services: Full time, Part time or locums position(s) for Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants working alongside an Emergency Job description: We are looking for one or more NP's or PA's to work full time, part time, or locums in our emergency department. We see roughly 26,000 patients annually. Midlevel shifts are 8 am to 4 pm, 12 noon to 8 pm and 4 pm to midnight daily. The midlevels will do self-scheduling with preferences worked out amongst themselves. Weekends and holidays are to be equally and equitably divided. We see a lot of patients who present with chest and/or abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, URI's/ear infections, and pediatrics. We see very little major trauma. We do an occasional medical clearance for psychiatric admission. We would like candidates to have at least 3-5 years of experience working in an emergency department setting. Might consider less experience on a probationary basis. Location: The job is located in Green Bay proper. The public school systems in and around Green Bay are fantastic. Crime rates are low, and people still thank you for your services when they leave our department. We are also looking into expanding our corporation to include a couple of rural ED's, one of which is staffed with midlevels only. Compensation: Salary based upon experience e.g. $50/hour with a production bonus based on RVU's generated during each shift. One hour plus to Washington, DC, VA Description: Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant. The new PA will directly work with a General Orthopaedic Surgeon. The position is one to two days in the OR and the balance in the clinic. The new PA will be rotated one day a week within the Prompt Care Clinic where they will handle sprains, strains and fractures. Areas of concentration include arthroscopy, total joints, fractures and general cases. This Doctor utilizes the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques. The group is also involved with advanced research. Responsibilities include: providing surgical first assist, casting and splinting, fracture reductions and dislocations, joint aspirations, consultation and patient evaluation and education, injections, writing scripts and reviewing labs results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified, highly motivated, hard working and able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Call is 1/6. Previous orthopaedic/surgical experience is preferred, but will train a new graduate that has a strong desire for ortho!
