Job Description Single Specialty Orthopaedic Group seeks to add two
Physician Assistants. The first PA will support a General Orthopaedic
Surgeon and the other PA will support an Upper Extremity Fellowship trained
Orthopaedic Surgeon. Both positions will be a split between the OR
and the Clinic. Responsibilities include: patient evaluation
and education, joint aspirations, pre and post-op consults, first assist,
joint aspirations and injections, write scripts, hospital rounds on difficult
cases and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.
Call is 1/4. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified.
Previous orthopaedic experience is not required, but candidates must have
completed an orthopaedic rotation. The new PA's can eventually run
their own clinic.
The location is a small town in western Kansas that is close to the
