Loan Repayment – Nebraska We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a rural health clinic in Western Nebraska. Will consider an experienced provider or new graduate. Physician on site. Schedule is M-F, 8a – 5p. Light call (including ER). Anticipated patient volume is around 15/day to start and building as you become established. Compensation will be $75 – 100k with a comprehensive benefit package including 27 days PTO (including holidays), malpractice, no-cost health insurance, retirement, 10 days paid CME. Also, this position offers Federal Loan Repayment Assistance with a high HPSA score (requires 2 year commitment). The cash value of this benefit is $25k (1st year), and $25k (2nd year). These are pretax dollars so the real value (in taxable dollars and interest) is $65k+. In essence you are working for 2 years and almost getting paid for 3!!! Job Description Single Specialty Orthopaedic Group seeks to add two Physician Assistants. The first PA will support a General Orthopaedic Surgeon and the other PA will support an Upper Extremity Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. Both positions will be a split between the OR and the Clinic. Responsibilities include: patient evaluation and education, joint aspirations, pre and post-op consults, first assist, joint aspirations and injections, write scripts, hospital rounds on difficult cases and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Call is 1/4. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. Previous orthopaedic experience is not required, but candidates must have completed an orthopaedic rotation. The new PA's can eventually run their own clinic. The location is a small town in western Kansas that is close to the Colorado border. The area provides a great life style with a very reasonable cost of living and solid school systems. Base salary range: $85k (entry level) and open for experience, plus a bonus.
