PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT We have an immediate opening for a PA candidate in orthopedic surgery. PAs are a vital part of the total joint arthroplasty, spine, and sports medicine services teams. We seek a highly motivated and dedicated individual for this position. The PA will be responsible for assisting in the operating room and in the management of orthopedic inpatients. This includes daily rounds, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and preparing patients for discharge. Additional responsibilities include shared coverage in the Ambulatory Care Unit, where established patients may come for evaluation, treatment and possible admission. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an AAPA/ NCCPA accredited PA program, have licensure as a PA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and hold a Massachusetts Controlled Substance Certificate and DEA number. We prefer candidates have orthopedic surgical experience, but we are willing to train the right person. Schedule for this position is 4 days per week, 40+ hours. No weekends or call. Pittsburg, PA – Wound Care We are seeking Nurse Practitioner (FNP or ANP) for a Wound Care position in Pittsburg Pennsylvania. Must have 1 year post grad experience. You will be working with one of the leading wound care physicians in the state who is noted for his charming personality and outgoing nature (basically, everyone likes him). Inpatient and out patient responsibility. Working with a team of physicians including infectious disease, podiatrist and general surgeon. Colorado Pediatrics We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP) for a pediatric practice in Western Colorado. Other providers on site. Will consider an experienced provider or new graduate. Schedule will be M-F, 8a – 5p, and 1 in 6 Saturdays – ½ day. No call. Anticipated patient volume will be 20/day to start. If the RN cannot manage the patient's needs, he/she will forward the call to the Clinica mid-level on call. The NP/PA will triage the call and resolve the issue if possible. If the need is beyond the scope of a mid-level provider, the patient call is forwarded to the Clinica physician on call. Mid-level call responsibility is about three weeks a year, usually including one holiday. However, additional shifts are required if there is not adequate coverage.
