Family Practice with Emergency
Medicine Physician Assistant - Western Colorado
We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join a small general acute care
hospital in a family practice clinic setting with ER coverage responsibilities.
The PA will be working in an FP clinic setting managing approximately 10-15
patients per day and covering the ER as well (mostly Triage). Administration
is flexible on how the PA's schedule can be configured and is open to working
with the provider to make it mutually convenient. The PA must function
autonomously in both the clinic and ER setting, however, there is a physician
readily available via back-up call. The volume is light in
the ED with only 2,400 visits annually, but there may be major trauma cases
due to the industry of local employers . Salary range starting
at $55.00+ per hour (D.O.E.) with full, medical, dental, 401K.
The Administrator is also open to a PA that would be interested in "test
driving" the opportunity for a 6 month period on a locum tenens basis as

Subspecialty is fairly complete with exceptions of Ophthalmology and partial
neurology coverage. Ancillary services include: Radiology with In house
radiologist, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI with 24 hour availability. Also available,
