Job Description
* Provides advanced practice nursing care for employees, spouses and

* Maintains current knowledge of laws and professional standards governing
nursing practice.
* Observes federal regulations, standards, and guidelines to include
the OSHA bloodborne pathogen program.
* Provides consultation regarding health issues in a collaborative
manner at the industrial site as well as in the community.
* Maintains health records on employees, spouses and dependents seen
in the OnSite Health clinic.
* Assists in preparing required reports for fiscal and professional
accountability

A women's health nurse must have experience in direct patient care,
education, administration, and/or research. He or she must have graduated
from an OB/GYN nurse practitioner program (1-year program that is accepted
by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic,
and Neonatal Nursing Specialties).
Women Health Center consisting of two OBGYN Physicians, Midwife RN and
Nurse Practitioner seek a full time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
The new PA/NP will handle a high volume of both acute and routine OBGYN
cases. The new PA/NP's responsibilities will include most phases
of gynecological services, family planning, prenatal care and counseling,
prevention and education related to women's health, adolescent health,
postpartum, post operative and wellness education, as well as pelvic exams,
breast exams and pap smears. The new PA/NP should have knowledge
of IUD insertion, Norplant insertion and removal, dealing with abnormal
pap smear follow up and sexually transmitted diseases. Successful
candidate must, at a minimum, have one year of experience in OBGYN.
Compensation is open (depends on experience), plus a production bonus
