Job Description:
Orthopaedic Group
seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to
work directly with an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Procedures performed
include: shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery, fusions, total knee
replacement (gender specific knee replacement), fracture care and
athletic injury. The new PA/NP would eventually run an
Orthopaedic
Clinic. The PA/NP will work both in the OR and the Clinic.
Responsibilities
include:
H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic
treatment, first assist, review lab results, cortisone injections,
treat basic fractures, hospital rounds, casting and splinting within a
clinic setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified
and
able to work well in a fast-paced environment. There is a call of

(not trauma). The location is within 50 minutes to the Penn State
area. The new PA/NP will enjoy year round outdoor living,
