The Department of Plastic and Oral Surgery at Children’s Hospital Boston
is seeking an independent and motivated Physician Assistant to join our
staff of 8 physicians.
Responsibilities include: independent assessment and evaluation of patients,
accurate communication with physicians, assisting physicians with IV sedation
during procedures, caring for wounds and devices used in plastic surgical
environment including drains, VACs, splints and dressings, telephone triage
requiring independent thinking and problem solving skills, patient and
family education, and assisting physicians in operating room, inpatient
management and clinical settings.
Skills Required: IV skills, sedation and/or ICU experience (adult
or pediatric); PA with plastic and/or oral surgery experience preferred.
The candidate will have a broad base of clinical experience, excellent
verbal, written and organizational skills and be able to manage multiple
tasks in a rapidly changing health care environment as part of a team of
residents and physicians. Master's degree in Medical Science from
