We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a Mental Health Clinic in southern Missouri. Must be Psych Certified. Will consider an experienced provider or new graduate. Mostly outpatient work including med management and therapy. Schedule will be M-F, 8a-5p. No call, no weekends. High level of autonomy. Compensation will be a base $75-90k and an extremely generous benefit package yielding 70% of profits – current NP is making $150k+ per year. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needed for Hospital (In-patient/Out-patient Clinic Setting) Med/ Management and Therapy. Standard hours are Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm. Some call responsibilities required for this position. The Hospital has two units; one for Adults and one for Geriatrics. Top three DRGs are depression, schizophrenia/psychosis, and mood disorders. Estimated patient volume would be 25 per day. There are several Psychiatrists on staff.
Salary range of 85-95K D.O.E., plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a one year commitment. PTO accrues at two weeks per year initially and 12 days per year sick leave. Paid CME and CME allowance. The Nursing Program, within the School of Nursing and Health Studies at Northern Illinois University, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level to begin August, 2009.
Candidates must have a PHD (or ABD) in nursing or related field. Preference given to candidates with a history of funded healthcare research, Registered Nurse licensure, a Master's Degree in Nursing, and national certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for teaching and research in nursing. The position will involve graduate and undergraduate teaching, as well as research, university and professional service, and graduate student advising. Relevant professional work experience, especially in medical/surgical nursing, is desirable.

Assistant/Associate Professor, Nurse Practitioner Faculty University of South Florida College of Nursing Tampa, FL
The USF, College of Nursing is seeking candidates to fill two full-time, 12-month faculty positions at the level of Assistant to Associate Professor for the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program. The primary focus of both positions is on teaching.
Responsibilities will include didactic classroom instruction and clinical supervision of NP students. Evaluation of students and teaching via web and with Blackboard will be a required part of teaching responsibilities. If tenure-track is chosen, research activities are an expected part of position requirements.
Minimum Requirements: An earned doctorate from an accredited institution in Nursing or related field and eligibility to practice as an ARNP in the State of Florida and nationally certified as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner. Recent clinical practice in Primary Care is required. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching at the graduate level and record of academic scholarship. Salary is negotiable.

Nursing Programs
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers CCNE-accredited BSN and MSN programs to over 700 students. The nursing department offers a traditional BSN program in Eau Claire and Marshfield, WI. In addition, the department offers an accelerated second degree program, a statewide collaborative BSN completion program, and an MSN program. At the graduate level students select specialization (adult or family) and role preparation (education, administration, or advanced clinical practice: nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist). A Doctor of Nursing Practice is in the planning stage. The department is comprised of over 40 full time faculty located at both the Eau Claire and Marshfield sites. Classrooms are connected by live, interactive video. Both distance and on-site programming is provided in the BSN, BSN completion and MSN programs. As an integral part of a liberal arts-based, comprehensive university, the nursing programs support collaborative relationships among faculty and students in the College, within the University, and in professional and practice communities.
