Full time opportunity for a child psychiatric nurse practitioner to
join PATH PC, the outpatient behavioral health service of Saint Francis
Hospital and Medical Center, a 617-bed tertiary hospital located in Hartford,
Connecticut. PATH is a multi-disciplinary, multi-site practice, with
offices in Hartford, Glastonbury, Meriden, Simsbury, and Enfield.
PATH provides outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents,
adults, and families. Much of our practice is focused on meeting
the psychiatric treatment needs of ordinary people facing periods of extraordinary
challenge or stress, related to medical illness or injury. We are
committed to providing a collaborative behavioral health/pediatric medicine
service for children, adolescents, and their families. Expertise
and interest in with working with such an integrated care model for children
is highly desirable.
As a child psychiatric nurse practitioner, you will be a member of our
multidisciplinary child services team of child psychiatrists, child psychologists,
licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists,
and licensed professional counselors. Our psychiatric service at
Saint Francis Hospital includes 4 inpatients units (Child, Adolescent,
Adult, Substance Use and Co-occurring) and a psychiatric consultation and
liaison service that provides services to the Emergency Department as well
as all inpatient medical units. Additional work hours are available
through the other components of our psychiatric service, for candidates
that have interest in such an arrangenment.
